Safe Sitter®

Safe Sitter® teaches adolescent babysitters how to handle crises, how to keep their charges secure, and how to nurture and guide a young child. In short, Safe Sitter® babysitters help children stay safe and sound while their parents are away. In the process, these 11-to 13-year-olds emerge as more confident, responsible and compassionate teens and adults. Their instructors thrive on making a difference in the lives of these adolescents and the children in their care. The Bullitt County Health Department and Bullitt County Extension Services is having a class on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Health Department  from 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. Class size is 16, so you must sign up by Monday May 29. Class fee is $25 dollars which includes: Safe Sitter Manual, Safe Sitter Bag, Completion Card, Flash-light, Band-aid kit, and any other item the health department gives out. Class instructors are Liz Crigler and Tara Nally, if you have any questions, please call Liz at (502) 955-5355. After you are signed up, Liz will be mailing everything you need for the class. We are looking forward in working with your children to become safe-sitter.

You must be 11 years old by the date of the class.
