Congratulations to the first group who enjoyed the tranquility of practicing and learning the six basic movements of Sun Style Tai Chi.  The movements do not require deep bending or squatting, which makes it comfortable to learn.  Recent studies have shown that a Tai Chi program for most all persons is safe and beneficial resulting in positive outcomes such as reduced pain, stiffness, fatigue and improved physical function, muscle strength, flexibility/mobility, and balance while reducing stress. This program is brought to our community thanks to the Arthritis Foundation® .

Also, Congratulations to thise who finished all 10-weeks of Body Recall!! Body Recall combines exercise (gentle movements that build strength) with education. Classes are designed to reclaim the strength and movement that help make living pleasurable.  At Body Recall we say “no brain, no gain!” Participants are educated in the art of moving wisely and learn how to relieve aches and stiffness through proper exercise. The movements are safe, tested, and possible for everyone.  Body Recall is motivational and fun. The participants become fast friends and encourage each other to continue exercising. Class topics include; falls and recovery, walking techniques, joint mobility, circulation improvement, bone strength, and much more.
