The Bullitt County Health Department and the Bullitt County Cooperative Extension Office (The FCS Agent) in cooperation with a local Pharmacist will present two Medication Management Workshops** The topics will focus on prescription and over-the-counter medications that help control specific chronic illnesses. First class topic of discussion will be Heart Disease and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) medications; and second class topic of discussion will be Diabetes medications. The goal of these workshops is to reduce the risk of adverse effects of medication through increased understanding of medication interactions and better medication management.
