Don’t wait until August to get your child ready for school. Make plans now to get those school physical exams and immunizations. All children entering school for the first time (whether it be Head Start, Preschool, or Kindergarten) and those entering 6th grade will need a physical exam. Children also need to have the age-appropriate vaccines required to enter school, so make sure your child’s immunization certificate is current. If you have any questions or need to make an appointment, call your physician or the Bullitt County Health Department.
